Josh Willingham Had Back Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

Injury of any kind is not to be taken lightly. If something is causing you pain and discomfort, then there is really no point in waiting to get better. I mean I get the hopeful feeling that it may go away on its own, but I think it'll do everyone a lot of good if we all just get help when we need it.

I went to see Dr. Robert Watkins at the Marina Spine Center because I had heard of his experience in spine issues and I needed the best hands on the matter. I went through an examination and pretty much right away he told that the problem was a herniated disc but that surgical intervention was a last resort and that we would together focus getting my strength back.
I was willing to do anything. Dr. Watkins had this core program that measured strength and he told me that I was at a level 1 kind of strength and that in his experience healthy professional sports players are at like a 5. It was a reality check, to say the least, but I’m thankful it occurred because as unpleasant it is to know you have issues, it also means you're one step closer to a solution.
