Jason Paul Had Lumbar Microdiscectomy with Dr. Robert Watkins IV
I was quite stubborn about what to do with the pain I was experiencing. I think it became a thing of habit for me. Ever since I was in college I suffered from it. I guess I thought I'll always pull through it. But that's not how it works. It only gets worse.

I had to have my herniated disc operated. I had been experiencing back pain since I was in college and I never really thought about taking some sort of action against it. I just kind of figured it comes with the job. Yes, that means that I made a choice to play through the pain. But then gradually, nothing worked to help me through the pain anymore.
Rehabilitative core strengthening exercises in conjunction with epidurals failed to relieve the pain. I saw Dr. Robert Watkins at Marina Hospital and I found out that it was more than spasms and some random pain. I had to have surgery on my spine. Lucky for me, Dr. Watkins knows what he is doing in this matter. I fully trusted him and his team. I wanted to get better and he knew how to get me there.
