Mark S. Had Gastric Sleeve Surgery with Dr. Jeremy Korman

I made a life-changing decision when I contacted the Marina Weight Management Center. In December 2017, I chose to have the gastric sleeve procedure with Dr. Korman. It would be easy to say losing over 80 pounds has been my biggest success thus far but I don’t like easy. I would consider my biggest success thus far is regaining confidence. It feels amazing to walk down the street with a little extra pep in your step. Truth to be told, I’m surprised I still have friends after that because I wasn’t very fun to be around. I’m making up for lost time and charging head first into my new normal! I don’t want to go back to how I used to be. This is my second chance at a new life and the sustained energy throughout the day, as well as a better outlook on life, far outweighs the quick fix you get from a bag of chips or a piece of cake. Surgery is only the beginning of this process. Dr. Korman’s team gave me the foundation but you really need to find what works for you.
